I had never never designed a logo for myself, which is a little ridiculous considering that I’ve done it for so many other people. So I actually sat down, thought about it, did a few different concepts and drafts and settled on the logo above.

Starting out, I wanted the logo to be text only. But after playing around with some more detailed, custom type, I started playing with a few different icon ideas. This one just kind of happened and I really began to love it. So it stuck.
