Happy Valentines Day! I hope you all felt loved and adored and that you were able to spread the love to others also.
This year, my dear friend Laura and I decided to have a chocolate treat making night. We made peanut butter cups (as well as chocolate truffles and coffee/Kahlua chocolate truffles) to be given out to our loved ones. After some “rustic” mishaps, we finally streamlined the process and ended up with some lovely little gems.

I put mine in little plastic bags and sealed them with some Japanese washi paper tape for a touch of pretty and called it good. I don’t think the packaging needed much anyway because they tasted so yummy! I posted the recipe below…
What did you all do for Valentines Day?

ooh baking and japanese tape – good hook up
i had to work this valentines day but had a lovely french dinner with the boy and his dad… well, until post-mains when the boy threw a glass of red wine over my white dress… and the dad ‘helped’ by matching it with a glass of soda water. tres chic!
