Have you seen these amazing wallpaper stamps?? They remind me of the roller stamps from my Stampin’ Up party days as a kid…except that these are a little more technologically advanced and actually ink the roller as you go.

This last weekend I got to go on another (quick) trip to Mammoth to ski with my friend Jilayne. We got some fresh powder the morning we headed up to the mountain and despite an hour of snow and wind, the conditions were perfect: snow was dry, the sun peeked out every so often, and the mountain was pretty empty.
Looking at the resort map reminded me of these amazing ski resort maps from Lifts & Bounds. Such a beautiful way to graphically represent such iconic places that can have significant meaning to people.
(If you’re interested in a play-by-play of my weekend in Mammoth, check my Instagram feed–I went a little post crazy…)
Being raised in Southern California by a Disney-loving dad, you can guess that Disneyland was a significant part of my childhood. We went as a family once a year (whoever spotted the Matterhorn first got to pick the first ride) and I had an annual pass through high school and most of college. My Disney-geekdom doesn’t stop there, but the point is that I loved it. There’s was (and still is) something so magical about Disneyland. I haven’t been to the park in years, but this weekend, I get to go for the day with some friends and I am so excited it’s ridiculous.
I absolutely love the vintage Disney archives about first building the park and all the original plans, rides, and attractions. So you can imagine my joy in watching these videos.
